Update traveled to 5 countries overseas and this little pack was perfect! Easily carries two water bottles in outside pockets, and camera, rain gear, jacket, snacks. I’m 5’3″ and my DH is 6’5″ and we both found this daypack to work while hiking, kayaking and bicycling. We packed it in the morning and could carry a days worth of gear. These are comfortable and did protect the contents in the light rain, but not entirely water proof. When we packed to come home we simply folded up the bag and stuck it in our carry on! So glad we have two of these!

I was looking for the perfect lightweight Disney bag for when we are traveling the parks with the kids- and yes, I have finally found it. I have a 2 and 4 yr old- that means I need to have snacks, drinks, sunscreen, ponchos, diapers & wipes (youngest), spare clothes, a few small toys for eating at the sit-down restaurants, etc with me at all times. I wanted something that wasn’t huge, knocking things off the shelves in stores or weighing me down after a long track around Epcot. I thought this might be too small or not padded enough, but it worked out great. This bag is bigger than it seems- it fits it all very comfortably on my shoulders.
The color options were a little bright for me and I wanted something my hubby would be able to toss on without grumbling at me about- so we got black. Very nice!

I gotta say, this is one useful backpack. I travel a lot and I have had several repackable bags throughout the years. I am THAT person at the airport that has over-packed her bag and has to put some things in a back pack. So, packable bags have become a staple of my travels. This bag would be excellent for that.
The fact that it is a backpack makes it easier for me to carry it around whilst keeping my hands free. This feature has proven vital for me. I have started packing this back pack into my bicycle pouch (yes, it fits! Band Bell) and stopping by the grocery store to do some light shopping. Because it allows for even distribution, I have encountered no issues whilst riding my bicycle and carrying the full backpack.
It breathes, I did not encounter any issues when riding my bike. The vibrant color (I have aqua) is great when riding as drivers can see me. Plenty of pockets for smaller items and/or water bottles.
Seems well built and durable. Excellent. Really like it and I have used it quite a bit since I got it.

UPDATE 9/8/2014 – I have been using this backpack so much lately. It really is the perfect backpack for a bunch of activities. This is the backpack I use to go to the beach. I ride my bicycle to the beach (2-4 miles one way, depending on the beach I go to). It fits a book, a beach towel (the nice big ones), a couple of bottles of water, my flip flops, snacks, small Bluetooth speakers and my phone battery. This is great. The side pockets for water are perfect. I often use them for discarding the wrappers of the snack bars. They have not flown away and they have stayed there until I arrived at a trash can. Really great backpack. It doesn’t add a lot of a weight to the load of items I am carrying and it distributes it well. The bright colors help with the cars noticing you.
