I wore the first pair to Aruba and the Mate bought them from me. They wear well and fit snuggly. They are not only utilitarian with leadering in large fish but also for reeling & shuttling the line. They are protective fro sun, dry quickly and comfortable. My new ones are the updated model with large AFTCO decals. They are a little less stiff.

My son has a skin sensitivity to fish slime. He is a Bass tournament fisherman and his hands were cracked and bled. These gloves are comfortable and prevent the hand from having direct contact with the fish. These also wash well in the washer and can be thrown into the dryer. His hands are healed and these have lasted 2 seasons!

If you want a good glove for grabbing fish this is the glove. Its a good looking glove and it wears really well! I mainly bought them for handling Cobia and Black Sea bass.
