Very excited to make soaps with this!! I feel like the pictures explain it all..
I didn’t even realize until after I purchased this that it’s microwave, oven, refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher safe because it’s food-grade silicone.
Only possibly negative thing I could say would be maybe it could be overall a little bit thicker? But honestly it’s exactly what I was looking for and I’m very pleased with this product.
Please note the second to last picture is just to show how flexible this is, it is not deformed in any way.

This mold produces smooth even soap bars and they pop out quite easily. I make cold pressed soap in small batches so this mold is the right size for me. When I pour my mixture into these molds the temperature of it is quite low.. usually just slightly warm. I wouldn’t recommend putting a very hot soap batch in this mold as the sides are fairly thin. I’d worry about the silicone breaking done and teeny particles mixing with the soap base.
We’ll see over time how well this holds up to multiple uses. I had to get rid of a wooden mold because it finally fell apart. I thought a silicone mold would produce cleaner looking bars and be easier to extract. So far so good.
Oh… just remember to have the mold on something flat BEFORE you pour the soap base. If you have to move the mold while the soap is still soft it’ll mess up the soap as the mold is extremely flexible and flimsy in structure. I put my mold on a small board which made it easy to move out of the way after I was done pouring.
