The looks of the train set are very realistic. The way the engine and tender are dezigned is very poor. They use 6 stiff wires between the two pieces that derail both pieces. The plastic pin between them broke very easily as well as other pieces from the engine and the wire plugs fell off trying to unplug them. The quality of the cars with the set are made much cheaper that the extra cars I bought seperately. All made by Bachmann. I am very disappointed in the quality of this purchase.

After less than an hour of running the train the motor stopped working. Sending to Bachmann for repair/replacement. Looks very nice but quality not up to normal Bachmann standards.

I received my train set and set it up. I am very experienced with model train sets, my Locomotive ran for a few minutes then broke. There is something wrong with this specific train set, all me other trains still run fine after owning them for years. This one broke after running around the track a few rounds, Do not buy this specific train set, there is something wrong with the locomotives, I saw a lot of people complaining about this same issue on this same trainset.
