Fantastic sounds! Both engines start up separately, bell rings at slow speed, horn blows once when stopped, 2 times forward, 3 times when reversing. Runs very smooth, especially at slow speed. This is a long locomotive but takes short curves just fine. The detail is very good. Only negative is gray paint on top of engine seems too thin as yellow paint can faintly be seen on exhaust fans and side screens. American flag and Union Pacific logos are very clear and Authenic. I’m an old HO fan 40 years ago, but now, thanks to DCC and the sounds on this locomotive, I’m hooked on N Scale and this locomotive is the start of my new N Scale layout!

My daughter and I were able to quickly set up our first DCC controller and this locomotive with DCC sound. Very well done with quality sound.
