This product is genius. No matter where you are in your work you have your row recorded and as long as you don’t loose the piece you can’t loose your place. My test piece to figure out this was a lace shawl and when it sat in my unfinished pile for nearly a year I was worried I’d have to rip out rows and rows of work and start over to make sure I had no mistakes; this row counter saved me. Right there at the beginning of my work the round start was marked and the row was noted. I’m thrilled to keep using this piece on any round object that needs row counting. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful Easily dropped…, May 24, 2013 By thebstt “handyma” (Coquille, OR USA) – Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This is a clever idea, but if you drop it off the needle at the end of a row, you’ve lost your count. I will try it again with larger yarn, but right now I’m doing stockinette with DMC ‘coton perle’ size 8 on size 0 circular needle and knitting around this counter leaves a noticeable gap between stitches. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful Highly Recommend This Counter, April 22, 2013 By TNMimi “TNMimi” (Tennessee) – Verified Purchase(What’s this?) Rarely do I see a product with a solid 5-star rating but this is definitely one of those products. This is probably the best notion I have found in about 30 years of knitting. I have tried all types of row counters and the issue is always the same–one has to remember to move it forward. Because this very ingenious chain hangs right on the needle, I just have to use it as I move it. It is self-reminding. It is not something I have to keep track of or hold in my lap along with my knitting or worry about someone else adjusting it and losing my place or trying to figure out which counter goes with which project. It tracks up to 99 rows just like any other counter. Amazing. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply Leave a comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
