the alligator clips are much too rigid to hold the plastic directly. But would be great to hold pieces that are mounted to something else (with the assistance of blue tack). the Plates are great for mxing and are inexpensive enough that I don’t care if they get damage or put too much investment and time on cleaning them. The wooden poles make great auxillery tools as paint stirrers est… Great buy for the price. They also fit perfectly onto my Tamiya rotating paint stand.
