This is one of those items that you never knew how much you needed until you have it. I purchased for one use, but have found myself using it for many other things: it’s easy to tear a piece off to put on the kitchen counter when Texasman cooks, because he makes a gosh awful mess. Now instead of scrubbing, I just wad up this paper. Ok, maybe that’s not very “green” of me, but I’ll try harder in other areas. It’s great for crafts, for packing, for wrapping. I was indecisive about the width of it, vacillating between the various widths available: 18″, 24″, 30″, 36″, or 48″. This was right in the middle and is just fine. It’s a hefty roll of paper, but not unmanageable. I found its spot and there it will stay (until I need it elsewhere, I guess) so I don’t have a need for it to be extra portable.
It’s thick enough to be protective and have some weight to it, but not so thick as to be stiff and unwieldy. Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase.

I have a 4 year old and we go to countless birthday parties a year and inevitably I’d run out of wrapping paper when I’m wrapping the gift the night before the party. So I decided to get this big roll of gender neutral wrapping paper. I love it. I let my 4 year old “decorate” and draw on the gift when it’s wrapped. It makes it more personal and she has fun. She is learning to read/write so it’s a fun activity for her. And for Christmas, I plan to wrap and put nice ribbon around the gifts. I use the scraps left over for kids to doodle on too. This paper “grade” or whatever you call it is the right thickness too. Not too thick for wrapping – extremely durable.

Used this at my wedding in lieu of table linens and I’m glad I did! It was very rustic but chic and also easy on the wallet. Clean-up at the end of the night was also very easy as I could just dispose of the table covering, especially since we had BBQ. (For any other brides out there thinking of using it, just be aware that it is the same color as most burlap fabric. So if you plan on doing a burlap table runner, you’ll probably want to add a border to the burlap or place another strip of fabric on top of the burlap so it stands out.)
