I bought this so I could wear it underneath a light jacket or hoodie and not worry about it cathcing the seelve if I took the jacket off. For that purpose, the armgaurd worked well. That is its only redeming factor though, it did little else to meet my expectations.
The sleeve appears to be of uniform width from wrist to elbow, and since I do have some muscles in my arm, its fit is uncomfortable to say the least. The worst thing about it is the little, tiny patch of rubber that is supposed to protect your arm from the string. It is so small and thin that you might as well not have anything, even through my jacket and the guard when the string hit my arm it felt like it was bare.
Lesson learned, bought a hard shell guard from the local sports store and have not had any trouble since.

I like the armguard and how easy it is to put on. My only wish is the rubber actual guard sewed on was wider. My arm does not get overheated and I can also put over a long sleeve so that’s a nice option.

1. cheap
2. protective
3. small and lightweight
Bad:
1. small sewed on protective strip(too small)
2. it’s sized weird and is tight at the wrist and loose the farther up you go
