I ordered 4 cases of these tins to re-do my spice collection. My array of spices was varied, as were the various containers they were all in. Here’s what I was looking for in a spice tin: metal, small, air-tight, and opaque. Even though they are advertised as candle tins, they are GREAT as a spice tins! I used chalkboard labels on the lids to mark what was what, and glued tiny magnets to the bottom so that I could display all the spices on a metal board next to the fridge.
Only issue is that some are more than air-tight. I’ve had to fight with a couple to get the lid off! But after doing so, I sanded the lid and base a little and now they’re easier to open.
