I bought this since I had a set of aluminum needles get warped in my bag. I looked everywhere, and this was the only hard case I found that would fit my 14″s. For the price, I like this case, but it is rather hard to open, just like other reviews have said. You have to be careful when you pull the bottom accessories stash off just to make sure you don’t scatter stitch markers all over the room! I put mine in a small, non-zip-top bag and it works fine. For the price, it will work for me. If you have grip issues or a lack of strength in your hands for any reason, you probably won’t be able to open this, though.

I had to buy 2 more of these to contain all my needles because I have A LOT of needles in different sizes and for different uses (i.e. double pointed, circular, cableing, and an array of sizes and types of regular needles. I also got one for crochet hooks and stitch markers too. I do like the product, I just wish I hadn’t had to buy several.

I appreciate having this sturdy case I can cary with me and not worry about breaking bamboo needles as I do with the cloth, roll-up type of needle cases. It’s advertised as having a compartment at the bottom to help carry things, but I found it a bit useless. It’s quite small, so might fit stitch markers – but even fold-up scissors are too big. Also, a complete set of needles in different sizes is a bit of a tight fit… but if you have just half a dozen bamboo needles, this would be fantastic.
