We were excited to order the doughnut puzzle, which looked fabulous in the photo. However, the photo of the puzzle is glossier and sharper than the actual puzzle. In reality the puzzle has a matte finish, rather than a glossy finish, with some distortion/out of focus portions. At the larger puzzle size, bits of it are blurry and it is hard to match pieces with the photo on the box. The pieces don’t interlock/click into place with that satisfying ‘snap’ like other puzzles due to the soft cardboard base, so even when you have the right piece, it’s often loose. We wish the company had used sturdier, harder cardboard and a sharper cutter for the pieces. A few color parts of the puzzle are peeling off the base, there are bends and nicks in the cardboard. The puzzle measures 26″ x 19″, so the pieces are on the small side. Sadly, we returned this puzzle.

Currently working on this with my husband and if it wasn’t for the fact that I spent $15 on it, it would be in the garbage. Many of the pieces fit just about anywhere. The picture and the quality of it is beautiful and was very happy with it until we started to fit the piece (or attempted to). Will finish and mount it for the wall but in the future will steer clear of this company.

I’ve enjoyed working on a lot of jigsaw puzzles over the years, but this one was among the best and most enjoyable I’ve ever done. The puzzle comes well packaged in a shrink-wrapped box with the pieces sealed inside in a plastic bag, leaving only a small amount of puzzle dust to contend with. The pieces themselves come on sturdy stock and the cuts are very precise so they fit together very well. Another reveiwer mentioned loose fitting pieces and I have to disagree. I did have a few loose ones while working it, but quickly found the reason they were loose is that they were incorrectly placed. All correctly placed pieces fit very well and do provide that satisfying click. One interesting thing to note is that while the puzzle pieces are basically laid out in a gridded fashion, they generally do not line up at the corners like some puzzles do and that can make it just a bit more difficult for some.
It’s the picture though, that really makes this puzzle a treat. The several zones of bright colors and bright color combinations made locating pieces in the box and putting this puzzle together a breeze. There was little to get bogged down with and box opening to completion was just over six hours. It was so much fun, however, that I was kind of suprised it even took that long because it felt much quicker than that.
I have to say though that like others have mentioned, looking at all of those tasty donuts really got me and I really wanted one of the vanilla frosted ones with sprinkles.

|One of the Most Fun Puzzles I’ve Ever Done,

The several zones of bright colors and bright color combinations made locating pieces in the box and putting this puzzle together a breeze. There was little to get bogged down with and box opening to completion was just over six hours. It was so much fun, however, that I was kind of suprised it even took that long because it felt much quicker than that.
