I like this book. It has a lot of different types of tips/instructions. It’s not jsut lettering. It’s modern calligraphy, typography, hand lettering, chalk lettering, and little projects that you can do. It’s a good books for beginners if you want to hit the ground running.

I’m so impressed with this book. Lots of clear instructions written in a approachable, friendly tone. And plenty of inspiring examples of fonts and hand lettering projects. Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn more about the craft.

Clear instructions and lots of great pictures and illustrations. It’s a nice sized book too. This will be a gift for my daughter who loves coming up with her own fonts. She’ll be able to practice the ones in the book and it’ll give her fresh ideas for her own.
