I have seen and read many crochet books and this is one of the few that focuses on all areas instead of just teaching new techniques. You have a whole book on how to read and understand crochet diagrams and charts which is awesome. There are other books to teach you to knit and crochet in one day but to me just the first one is worth getting the box set as it is something the others lack or don’t cover as much. Definitely a good starting pack for people who are learning or those who are still struggling.

I am totally loving this set. It’s full of cute and adorable designs which I can follow and make. From summer wearables, to garments for babies. Dorothy’s original designs really amazes me and makes me appreciate crochet more. I’m also amazed at how she can have so many ideas that are interesting and fun. Spending my time doing crochet projects is worth it. Especially, when you see your finished product. This set is so great, and I’m sure that other crochet enthusiasts will also love this. Right now, I’m a total fan of this author, and I’m certainly looking forward to her future works.

This books are fascinating. This can be very useful to me so I can teach my daughter the basics of crochet too. I’m sure we can do a lot of things together with this. The books are well organized with good and appealing cover, the Table of Contents which is really handy if you need to get into the topics. It explains the Pros and Cons of different types of hook you can use, the yarn and what are those label mean, which I don’t really care before.
