I’m a notorious crochet thread snob, and I was surprised to find myself very pleased with this inexpensive thread. I would describe it as better quality than Coats Royale crochet thread, but maybe not quite as nice as DMC Cebelia. It’s not fuzzy, and has a nice subtle sheen. The white is a a very bright pure white.
The yardage per 50g (175 yards) is not as much as with many other size 10 cottons, but the thread diameter doesn’t seem extraordinarily thick to me. It crochets up nicely with a size 7 hook, the same hook I would use for any other size 10 thread.

We purchased this crochet thread for a Senior Citizen who tats and crochets every day. She has everything else in the world she needs, but always need more thread. It is almost impossible for her to get to a supply source. Well, no more. We get her enough to last till next gift time. She loves the quality of this thread and the wide range of colors. The thread is great to work with. Works up nicely. Variety of color choices was excellent. Happy I found it at Amazon.com. as crochet thread is getting difficult to find in some areas. I live in a rural area so my computer is very useful at times.
