This is one well made,versatile tool for the pool player in your life. It is actually 3 tools in one. The part of the tool that my teammates and I use 95% of the time is inside once you unscrew the two ends. It is a tip pick tool that you tap against the tip of your stick to help the tip hold chalk if it gets packed down from use. On the outside at one end is a tip scuffer (each end is engraved to let you know). It will also roughen up the tip of your stick to help hold chalk better. It is less abrasive than the shaper on the opposite end and good for occasional use if the tip pick alone isn’t doing the job. On the other end is a shaper with a coarser abrasive that will reshape the tip of your stick if needed (only use it when really needed so you don’t wear down your tip too quickly). I had another one of these tools and lost it so I had to pick up another one. It is a top quality, handy tool that I recommend to all the pool players out there.

I like it due to the fact that it does an excellent job of shaping the tip (in a short time ) , and it is convenient to carry Due to it’s size , and the tip pick works great also .

good quality, doesn’t feel cheap in your hand. The shaping side works great, the scuffing side works great, and the pick on the inside is probably the most useful tool of all.
