I replaced a similar tool holder from another manufacturer with this purchase. It is made of a very good quality leather, has tight accurate stitching and is reinforced and rivited in all the right places. I really like the form factor. It is compact and useful. Shipping was quick and the pouch arrived in perfect condition

My husband wanted this one to replace the one he had that had a fabric belt loop that had worn through. He works in facility maintenance, and wanted something that didn’t hang all the way down his leg, but would hold the basic items – a quick screwdriver, pliers, Maglite, etc. This one fills the bill. (Note that you cannot carry ALL your tools with this one, but he doesn’t need to – he has a mobile tool box and needed just some quick-access basics.
It is very stiff when it arrives, but it will loosen with use, as does all leather. It holds things well, and Hubby is very happy with it. Well worth the cost.

I have purchased several tool belts recently, and hated all of them. I had an old Craftsman belt very similar to this that wore out. I like this for small jobs where you don’t have to carry a lot of tools. I am convinced leather is the best way to go. The cloth ones are flimsy and don’t have any support. The tape measure clip is a plus too. Only one recommendation: Get some Neatsfoot oil to soften the leather as the hide is hard as a rock when new.
