This was a gift for my 8 yo son. He is a Southwest Airlines fanatic. This model was a great deal for the price. It is hefty enough to not feel cheap, and easy enough to assemble that he had it done by himself before I even realized he’d opened the box. It comes off the stand easily when he wants to play with it, but is sturdy enough on the stand that it’s not constantly falling over like some of his other planes. A great choice!

There are only a few pieces to put together, so I wouldn’t call this a “model” in the traditional sense of the word. The pieces do fit very tight and it will not come apart once it’s together. I got this for my wife as a desk decoration, so it was more for display than the act of putting it together. Very nicely made though.

The Southwest Airlines 737 is absolutely awesome. In spring break we are taking this jet to Florida, and I just had to buy myself the model of the plane. Very colorful and displays beautifully. Everything snaps in easy and it makes a great desk model!!
