As a weekly bowler having to have to rent house bowling shoes $4 everytime, I could just have my own! Internet Bowling Warehouse lowered the price of this product to accommodate for $9.50 shipping and handling cost. I got my shoes in 1 week with Fedex tracking from NY to LA. For $35, I would have these shoes paid for in 9 weeks had I continued just renting shoes at my local bowling alley. The shoes came in mint condition with the shoe box within another box. The Ricky III are comfortable to play in and they look good. Sizes do run a big, so measure your feet and get that exact size and you will still have extra room in these shoes.

If you’re considering buying a pair of bowling shoes (this brand or any other), you should ask yourself this: How much do you pay to rent your shoes at the alley? $3? $4? Buying a pair is a good idea even if you only bowl a few times a year.
I went with the Ricky III model in black/red and have been extremely happy with that decision. They look like regular street shoes. Almost the skateboarding style. They feel like street shoes, too. We’ve gone bowling for several hours and I’ve almost forgotten to take them off when it came time to leave. A friend of mine recently got a pair of Ricky III’s in white. He shares the same sentiments about appearance and comfortability.
Dexter builds a good shoe. Good stitch, sturdy materials. I do believe the slip-pad wears away over time. Mine hasn’t yet, but seasoned bowlers have warned me of this and said it’s expected wear-and-tear. But Dexter sells replacement slip-pads, so I’ll probably just go that route when I need to. I don’t see the shoe itself falling apart.
So if you’re in the market for bowling shoes I recommend you take these into serious consideration. I’ve had my pair for a year and have no regrets with this purchase.

China made, ugly vinyl shoe. All this I knew when I bought, and was prepared to deal with if they were comfortable. I even ordered a size up based on previous reviews of snugness. I generally wear an 11.5 eee shoe. I ordered the 12 wide, and it was tight at the toe and the across the side. I’ve never put on a shoe marked wide that was this snug.
If you have wide feet, look elsewhere.
