I bought these because the colors are so vibrant and the set is heavy duty. I have a cheap set from a discount store and after a while the dominoes get nicked up which is like playing with a marked deck of cards. I replaced those with a different heavier duty set, which was so much better, but the colors are dark dull so it’s hard to tell a gray from a black from a blue from a brown. This set has bright colors that make it easier to identify the numbers and play the game. It does not have a hub or cars for Mexican Train, but I just use the ones from my other set.

Great toy (and counting tool) for kids. The different colors also help the little ones play, too. With 91 tiles, they are also great to use as building blocks for small towns… that get knocked down… by Thomas the Tank Engine. This game also travels well, so it’s nice to take along to the relatives’ house.
Only complaint is that there were no directions, so you either have to track them down on the internet or have somebody around who already knows how to play.
