Not as fitted as the dye chest protector . At 5’8″ 145 lbs the S/M is fine and a little loose . But comfortable enough to move . Better breath ability than the overload chest protector though no rib coverage . The dye just offered absolutely no protection from anything as their foam is an open cell very light foam that compressed so easily that you felt every shot and welt. I would say this is far superior to the dye but not as dense foam or as good protection as the overload protector. The breath ability of this beats the overload in the warmer weather 75 degrees or more and this is preferred. Links with the elbow pads well but never really had a problem with them falling down . Had to get the medium elbow pads the small were too tight. I also like the shallow v neck when I hot and sweaty the v neck is a bit more comfortable and easier to take off. With the dye and overload I pretty much have to ask my team mates grab an edge for me to pull it off over my head. Just something to consider if you are just playing walk on games.

This review is from: Empire Paintball Grind Chest Protectors (Misc.)
This chest protector was worthless. I highly advise people not to buy it. The fabric is so low quality just putting on your pod belt will tear it. Especially at the stitching. It also doesn’t protect at all. You will leave a game covered in welts on even the most padded areas.
