I’ve been needle felting for quite a while, but I ordered this kit because it had some tools that I don’t have. This little kit is excellent, especially considering how inexpensive it is. Every item in the kit is a nice quality. I especially like the little blade scissors and the finger guards. The awl has also become a very handy tool. It comes with 7 felting needles in a variety of sizes. The little wooden thingy is a needle holder, which is great, but I also like just holding the needles with my fingers when I am felting. What makes this kit even better is that the tools come in a very nice plastic box, neatly stored in little compartments. The little box has slide out separators so you can change the configuration of the compartments and make room for other felting tools you may have. As for the foam pad, I tried it out but didn’t like it very much, but that’s just me – I already have one I really like. Overall, I love this kit and I am so glad I got it. For the price – it is an amazing deal. If you bought these items separately, they would total at least $21.00. NOW… SHIPPING TIME – Keep in mind this item is sent from China so it is going to take a while. I have purchased items from China before so I already knew it was going to take around 3 weeks or so, but it was worth the wait.

I really am delighted with this kit.
I really appreciate the handy little case. I received an extra eighth needle, as there was one stored inside the wood handle. I have been felting without a handle but tried the handle out yesterday and it was really quite comfortable.
As another reviewer pointed out the needles are not labeled. The needles I received are three different sizes, all triangle needles. They are better quality than the needles that came in the felting kits from the Daiso store. These have better cut barbs and look more like ‘the real thing’ industrial grade needles. I used the smallest gauge needle in my test with the handle yesterday and my felting definitely went more quickly. The needles also came in a nice little tube so they don’t rattle around loose in the box.
The finger cots already saved my fingers.Don’t try to felt against the cots but for those times when you really do have to hold your project and felt between two fingers this will save them.
The scissors were satisfactorily sharp. I was a bit worried they would be dull and useless but pleasantly surprised. Needles and scissors were lightly oiled and -no- rust.
The seller was ‘heroneo’ and the package arrived in a timely manner from China.
So very glad I did buy this kit.

My 11 yr old daughter and I are new to needle felting so we didn’t want to invest too much into a hobby we’re just trying out. This is a perfect kit with more tools than I know what to do with yet. The foam board is larger than expected and the little scissors alone are worth the price. The price is right although expect long shipping time since coming from China. If it came with instructions or explaination of tools I’d add a star.
