This is a great table so far. The top is as straight and level as a beam and rolls nicely. It is not as fast as a slate table but it is much better quality than the average non-slate table. It is very sturdy and well designed, with lots of steel bracing and real bolts. The top is fully supported by a heavy-duty real-wood frame all the way around with 10 heavy duty bolts to connect the top to frame. There are 2 2-inch x 4-inch crossbeams to support the middle that are also bolted to the frame. The legs come in 4 pieces and need to be assembled but once assembled are heavy duty and secure to the frame by a large iron bracket in each corner with 4 bolt each. The material that the pockets are made out of is pretty heavy duty as well – it will take them some time to fully ‘relax’ once the table is installed. The top itself is extremely heavy and is supposed to be impregnated with epoxy resin – mine installed as straight and true as you could hope – even after we manhandled the entire package down two flights of stairs. The top comes with a 7-year, no-warp warranty which is nice to have although there is a procedure in the manual to make minor adjustments to if it required with shims. The table came packed very well with plenty of protection around the top. All of the parts are boxed and attached to the underside of the table with steel bands. When you open it, make sure the top is facing down so you can unscrew the support pieces from the bottom to build the base, then turn the top and set it on the base – plan to have 3-4 people around to fully support it during this operation. It took me, my wife, and my grown son working together about 1.5 hours to fully assemble it. It comes with some cheap tools but having a metric 12 socket and wrench and a power screwdriver available will make assembly go much faster. The table is shipped in a single box with wooden pallets strapped to the top and bottom and weights ALOT. Plan to have plenty of help to maneuver it and a large area to lay it out. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply 15 of 16 people found the following review helpful Great buy, April 11, 2012 By Big k – Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This review is from: Fat Cat Frisco II Billiard Table (Sports) Great deal. A nice table for the price. Assembly fairly easy. Looks like the more expensive slate tables at half the price. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply 27 of 34 people found the following review helpful Fat Cat 7Ft Pool Table, May 12, 2009 By M.
