I have had it a week. Shooting my crossbow into it and a buddy has used it for his bow. Stops my Barnett Ghost 350 with field point or broadheads. At 20 yards it does go through about 2-4 inches but it does stop it without tearing the block up. Once I get the Arrow to break free it slides out easily.
23Jan2013 After reading a bad review on here I thought I would update my review. The guy must not have read my short review as he was upset that the crossbow bolt went through the target. if you check out the picture I posted with the product you will see the bolt from a Barnett Ghost 350 will bury to the quills with the broadhead sticking out the other side. This target works by by the bolt/arrow causing friction which heats up the plastic in the target which gets sticky and slows the bolt/arrow. Once the plastic cools off it is easier to get the bolt/arrow out. I have to twist or push the bolt/arrow to get it broken free. If the target has cooled off the arrow will then slide out easily. I usually shoot three, walk down and start removing the first as it has cooled down by then. Taking the broadhead off does make it easier to remove the bolt/arrow. I have pulled the quills through without damaging them but I can see how they could be damaged doing this.
Try avoid hitting the edges of the target as it will cut the band which hold the layers together. There is also plywood on some of the sides.
The target has held up great to my crossbow and my buddies bow.

this is a great target. ive had it for a week now and ive been shooting into it non stop. ive probably shot about 300 shots into it at least within the time that ive had it and it still hasnt done much wear and tear to it. i use field points for target practice but i also use some broadheads and it can really take the hits. its very lightweight and easy to carry around. the shipping was fast it was here within 3 days of ordering the product.
i would have given it a 5 star rating but there are these pieces of plywood on 4 sides of it on the top, bottom, left and right of the target. u can only shoot at 2 sides (the front and the back of it) and when u hit the wood it makes your arrows ricochet. ive shot multiple times where it would just bounce off the top or sides of the target and the arrow would fly in random directions which is very dangerous. just be careful.
other than that minor detail, it is a good product that im very sure will last me a long time. it can take a lot of arrows no problem, and u can probably take out that plywood and modify it somehow but at this price u shouldnt have to. there are other targets at this price range that can take hits from all sides of the target but i like this block. i have a good feeling that it will last me a very long time.

Previously I had been using a Styrofoam target that did not last long. The arrows would protrude out the back of the target until finally they started going through the target. I do not have this problem with the Block Classic. Shooting from only 10 feet away, the arrows only go in a couple inches. The arrows can be removed with relative ease. I highly recommend this target if you are tired of purchasing Styrofoam targets that only last a few weeks.
