This review is from: India Pale Ale Homebrew Beer Ingredient Kit (Misc.)
This India Pale Ale is about the tenth Brewers Best kit I have made. So far, every one of them has been a success. (If you follow the instructions, it’s hard to go wrong.) Yesterday I popped open my first bottle of this batch, having finished the primary and secondary fermentation and having bottle-conditioned it for two weeks. It tasted great. It already had the right amount of carbonation and formed a thick, creamy head. Medium amber in color, this is definitely a hop-forward beer. However, the bitterness is pleasant and not overwhelming. (It’s listed at 45-49 IBUs.) At this point there is just a slight floral/citrusy aroma, which I’m expecting will intensify as the beer ages. It drinks extremely crisp and smooth. Its ABV is approximately 6%. I drank my first bottle by itself. However, I expect it will do well with spicy foods, since it won’t overpower these. I highly recommend this easy-to-make kit.

This was my first batch. I got this to do a test run before I went into a local shop with a recipe. This kit provided a great listing of instructions with plenty of details. The set of instructions offered suggestions for various brewing styles. The ease of use was great and came with everything you need. I would suggest this to any new brewer to get acclimated to the process. Flavor gets better as the bottles sit longer.
