The Q and A indicates this product is 100% cotton and it’s not. The package I received said it was polypropylene reinforced cotton. I contacted the seller Sunworld about this and they replied

I’m sure the clothesline is excellent if you want a blended product, Sunworld is a great seller, but whoever’s posting that this is 100% cotton is 100% wrong.

I bought this to make clothesline bowls and it worked just fine. I was able to make a 7 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ square basket, a 8″ x 5″ x 2″ rectangle basket and two small heart dishes, 5″ x 4″ x1 1/2″ and 4 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ – all from one bundle.

Strong, doesn’t sag, doesn’t fray. I use it low – about 3 feet above the ground to be below my patio fence so that the laundry is not visible to the homeowners’ association neighbors. Thus the non-sag quality is important.
