This bag is just what I wanted for my knitting supplies. I enjoy creating afghans for my children and their friends, and this bag easily will hold the yarn, needles, pattern book, crochet hooks, scissors, etc. I need. I can keep everything close at hand or zip it up and take it on vacation. It is lightweight, stays open and upright and the pattern is pretty without being too girly. I am sure I will end up purchasing similar ones for my daughters who love to craft.

I am sure I’ll give it another star as I begin using it.
I wish for another one or two for other uses.
I have two crochet projects going and both are going to end up six feet across. My ‘candycorn’ project is in a big sized plastic storage tub and it isn’t a pretty thing to have in the livingroom where I do all of my crochet projects.
The plastic tub doesn’t have pockets to hold the yarn needles, crochet hooks, stitch markers and other strange things. I end up putting the hook with my ink pens and the markers in my thumbtack drawer and sometimes I can’t find them when I need them.
This bag has pockets inside for hooks and skeins of yarn and the project I have in it at the moment does not overflow. At some point the project will outgrow the bag and I’ll move it into the tub but I will be using this JanetBasket to contain the yarn and other things.
By the way, if this bag is blue I have gone colorblind… It looks brown, just like in the picture.
If you need to contain your projects, go ahead and get this bag. When it is empty it folds up into a very small footprint.

i love this bag! it hold everything i need plus some when i’m working on a project, i actually have three projects and the needles and tools i need in it now and extra yarn just because there is room and i haven’t put it away yet. lol it would also make a fantastic diaper bag. actually maybe what it was intended for? but i got it for a craft bag. the material seems very strong and well built. the top edge has a rod sewn into the hem so when you open it it stays open for you like a basket. the one thing that i found disappointing was that there is no shoulder strap included but it has D rings to accept one. so i just took one off a duffel back that i don’t use and put it on it.
