This little guy is perfect for hammering or forging all types of sheet metal and even wire, without leaving marks of any kind! It has a great weight to it and is balanced extremely well, for it’s size and cost! A great tool for any jewelers desk!

I didn’t have any of the loose or poorly constructed issues others have reported. Feels very solid, but it isn’t for hammering nails – just light weight tasks. Seems to have just enough weight to be useful, but not too bulky or difficult to manage. So far, I really like my little hammer.

I purchased this hammer for making jewelry. Metal hammers tend to leave marks. This one doesn’t so far, but I sometimes have to resort to my heavier metal hammer.
