The reviews are all over the map because people had different expectations for what they would get. So far I have only worked on one of the six puzzles, the “cube” in the lower right of the product picture. I haven’t put it back together yet but I have now solved it “on paper” by working the puzzle as a CAD drawing. This review is based on this much experience with the product. These are NOT easy puzzles! Do not buy them for young children. Do not even buy them for older children unless they are really into challenging puzzles and have already solved some easier puzzles of this type. These do come with solutions. I have only glanced at them to get a sense of what help was available but I have avoided trying to follow those instructions because what’s the point of looking at the instructions unless you have given up and you just want to put it back together to inflict on someone else? As others have observed, trying to follow the instructions is a puzzle in itself. To put this in perspective, really challenging puzzles intended for true puzzle fanatics don’t come with instructions at all. Sometimes you can email to get instructions, but they will send them to you only after some time since purchase, perhaps six months. Understand that these puzzles are on the borderline of being the type that don’t come with instructions. You shouldn’t take them apart if you are not committed to the challenge of putting them back together without using instructions. These are puzzles, not Ikea furniture. Although they are probably good preparation for assembling Ikea furniture. For those who are into the mathematics of wood burr puzzles, the solution I arrived at for the puzzle I am working on requires 4 moves to lock the puzzle together. As I understand it, that makes it a moderately hard puzzle of this type. This review is from: KAILIMENG 3D Wooden Cube Brain Teaser Puzzle (Toy) Yup. The puzzles themselves seem fine, though one seemed a bit loose when re-assembled. The big problem is that it’s really difficult to re-assemble them, as the instruction sheet is basically useless (probably even if you can read Chinese). Also, it seems like you need 2 people to do the task. It’s really hard to hold and manipulate all the pieces with just 2 hands. This review is from: KAILIMENG 3D Wooden Cube Brain Teaser Puzzle (Toy) These are poor quality material, took forever to arrive(2months) and the packaging was a joke. It also had zero paperwork. That is a real bummer since I’m giving them to a child who loves puzzles of all sorts and usually likes the instructions that give multiple challenges for you to do.
