This is a great model train with lots of attention details. the tail lights on the last car light up and I do beleive that there is a lighting kit that you can also order to light up the windows in the other cars

I’m just getting back into N scale after a number of years in other scales and I’m certainly well pleased with this wonderful model of a historically significant train. Kato has done a wonderful job of simulating the stainless steel of the real thing. Additionally, Kato has an excellent reputation for making high quality models and this engine runs like a watch…very smooth with good slow speed control. The locomotive is DCC friendly and a couple of different companies make drop-in decoders for this engine.
