Rock solid track and turnouts, particularly if you are going to be changing things around frequently. Kato’s remote control turnout sysem is particularly nice for those who maybe need to be able to tear their track down from time to time as it’s totally contained in the turnout. Their controls do essentially require the use of their power pack as they snap on to the side of that (I believe there is an adapter you can get and you may only need 1 adapter for all your controls). This set is a good value over buying the components separately.
It still is sectional track, not flex track, so do be aware of what you’re getting. It’s also n scale: you do need to keep things pretty clean or your locomotives won’t make good electrical contact with the rail.
