I’d like to address some comments that have been made about the puzzle pieces not fitting right. So far, I have found that the pieces fit just fine, if you have the patience to make sure that you genuinely have the right piece in the right place.
I bought this puzzle a few days ago, along with a bunch of foam core board. When it is complete, I will be storing it in pieces until I have the space to assemble and hang it. As with all Ravensburger puzzles, I have not been disappointed with the quality. The pieces are solid and well-cut. There is almost never a doubt in my mind as to whether a fit is correct, but I am very meticulous. Of course, given the size and color challenge of this puzzle, I would imagine that if you are not meticulous, you’d be crazy to attempt this endeavor.
All said and done, I’m looking forward to the next few months. I have almost completed one fourth of a bag (of which there are eight in the box).
If you love puzzles, want a challenge, and would enjoy having some bright artwork as a prominent art feature in your home, definitely buy this puzzle.
As a side note, Amazon.com’s customer service is absolutely phenomenal. I very rarely have anything to call them about, but this was one of the rare occasions I had to contact them. I noticed the price dropped significantly on this item the day after I placed my order. They gave me a price adjustment with no hassle whatsoever. This is the reason I have continued to shop with them for… geez, 15 years now!

I love this puzzle. I’m nearly done with it (on panel 7 of 8) and I would also like to clear up any confusion about the pieces not fitting. At first, it may seem like the white pieces/border pieces are not properly cut. However, with patience, you can find the right size. I found it best to take the middle sections and compare them until they lined up properly, then placed them back on the puzzle.
I also found it best to sort your pieces by color, then number of sides. Have fun!

This puzzle came out right before I finished the puzzle, “Life: The Great Challenge” which at the time was the world’s largest jiggsaw puzzle. While I’m excited about having another large puzzle to complete, I wasn’t thrilled at having the bragging rights pulled out from under me on the previous puzzle!
So far I’ve found this puzzle to be much more difficult than the, “Life” puzzle. The colors are solid with very few patterns to go by. This can be frustrating but for me, worth it. I think anyone willing to tackle a 32,000 piece puzzle won’t let the additional challenge deter them.
The most frustrating thing for me is that the pieces don’t fit together very well. Combine this with the fact that most pieces are solid colored, and you’re bound to get annoyed. Even after finishing the first bag and having all pieces “fit” together, I’m not confident that all the pieces are in the right spots and you can easily exchange them with other pieces and not know which is the better fit. That really bothers me. At first I spent a lot of time trying to line up edges but after a while I realized that even if the piece was in the right spot, the edges don’t typically line up.
Regardless, given the chance I would purchase this puzzle again.
