I saw this on sale and am getting ready to make 18 knife sheaths so I figured I’d give it a try. It is slightly thinner and much cheaper than the Tandy stuff I’d been using. Works fine, will use it on smaller items. I had to double backstitch since it’s thinner, but that takes just seconds to do. I would not use it for gun holsters or heavy blades due to the thinness and less strength. The picture shows the Tandy thread on the left so you can see the size difference.

I have used this particular thread on a project that needed to be hand stitched. I was not able to find the same color of green so decided to buy this thread to try to dye it with the same color I used on the leather. It worked perfect. (see picture) The thread is strong and it is easy to dye it evenly. I will buy this product again.

Love it. Works great. Has just the perfect amount of wax. Not too much or too little. I use it for knife sheath making and it’s working great for me. No complaints here. I bought some of the highly regarded tiger thread and honestly it’s a waste of money, this works just fine for me and it’s much cheaper than tiger thread.
