Must have for fondant and working with royal icing and sugar cookies. That said this particular PME tool is way overpriced look around for lessor alternatives, I just didn’t have time to indulge thriftiness. Fondant tools are particular to the individual sometimes I think they add 50% to sculpting and craft tools the second they add “fondant” or “sugar craft” to the title even though it is the exact same tools. Do yourself a favor look around in different departments for the same tools and save some money.

I couldn’t find any other option so I bought this here, but I think the price is too high! I use this scribe for working on royal icing decorated sugar cookies. It works well and saves me money on toothpicks.

I ordered two of these, with two charges of shipping (because of Amazon not the vendor). This vendor had EXCELLENT customer service, very friendly, and very prompt to answer my questions. I asked about discounted shipping, they explained how Amazon worked with that, however, she refunded me the second item’s shipping once my tools were delivered. I am happy with that!
Now for the tools themselves… Easy to handle & grip. The needle was long enough for me and skinny enough to use for Royal Icing (on cookies). I’m sure I can find more uses for this tool when it comes to Pastry. Made a lot of iced cookies last night for the first time and this tool was amazing!
Shipping was on time and packaged well with care.
Customer service 5 stars, Shipping 5 stars, Item 5 stars – Will purchase again if I need another one in the future!
