These are a nice mid point between sets of China bamboo -fine in bigger sizes but not so much at size 1 – and indulgences like Knitter’s Pride Karbonz. They are smooth finished and silky feeling. nice to work with. They also came with -6- needles each needle size,. I like to knit thumb gores on gloves and mittens on a separate needle so even if nothing ever breaks that 6th needle is very very welcome for that; five around and one working needle. Far as I know this is the only brand to give you 6 needles per size. Try them

Not only do I like the colors but I love the way it feels. It is slightly smooth so if you haven’t adapted a tension grip with your hands you will have the yarn slide a little.
A tip though for marking beginning of the round or keeping yarn from slipping off. My family has sent me a lot of knitting kits like the ones you see at wal-mart/k-mart and it comes with those blue rubber needle tips. I use those to mark the start of the beginning row and it keeps my yarn from falling off. If you have a few you can put them on the ends to keep your stitches from dropping.
Hope that helps!!

Great Needles. So soft and smooth. Really sharp points. I actually have never used needles as sharp as these. I love ’em. They are pretty strong too. The two smallest sizes (size 0, 1) worry me a tiny bit, I just make sure I’m careful as to not snap them. Also most DPNs I’ve bought have five needles this set has six different sizes and six different needles to each size. These come highly recamended by me.
