USA) – When trying to decide if i wanted the bag reading the reviews here did not help, so i am going to try and be more detail hoping it will help some decide if they want it or not. 1st i love the size of the bag, i love the fact that you can put at least 6 skeins of yarn in the bag and you put the yarn in the holes so your work will not get tangle (big bonus), also in the back is a zipper when you open it and look inside you will see it is very roomy inside, you can put your work in it, it also has a pocket on both ends of the bag, one is closed with a zipper the other is closed with velcro, there is also a place on top for some extra knitting needles or even some crochet hooks. it also has a detachable caring strap. now what i don’t like, the separation in the bag to separate the back from the front do not connect to the bottom of the bag, it is just loose. the plastic on the outside is not very thick but it is not thin either, the zippers on the bag i would give about a 4 and the material is like a regular tote bag(but that is what my stuff is in anyone so no big deal) but not a cheap one. over all i still like the bag, i have been looking for something like this for a long time and i know it will be a big help, i only paid 12.99 + free shipping on ebay for it, so if the bag was a better material and better quality then it would have cost more and i wouldn’t have bought it, so i will be careful with it and be happy that i found it. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comments (2) Reply 86 of 87 people found the following review helpful This is an awesome bag!, June 27, 2013 By LauraC (Texas) – Verified Purchase(What’s this?) I really like this bag, even though it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. I was actually looking for a bag like this, only both sides would hold yarn, being able to feed the working ends through the top just like this one has on the one side. But since this holds 6 skeins of yarn, it holds enough, for now. The other half of the bag is a big storage pocket. Comes in handy for me, since I’m doing a lot of loom knitting. Only problem is that it won’t hold the longest loom that I have. most of the zippers were split when the bag arrived, so I had to zip/unzip them all a few times to get them to zip correctly. Everything works fine now. | The bag does come with velcro straps to secure the ends of your yarn so it won’t fall back down the holes. It’s hard to see in the picture, and it doesn’t mention this in the description (or did I miss it?). Anyway, I was concerned about this when ordering the bag, but all my yarn ends are securely strapped to the top of the bag. I’ve uploaded a picture to show this more clearly. The bag can be used while it is sitting on the floor if you’re hand knitting or crocheting. If you’re loom knitting, I’d keep it on the table. I usually turn my bag on it’s side (yarn side down) and pull the yarn that way. I was concerned that the pressure of having two large skeins would put too much tension on the yarn, but it doesn’t – if pulling from the center. There is tension when you first get started, so I just pull an arm-length out to work with until the tension eases up. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comments (3) Reply 104 of 107 people found the following review helpful Overall satisfied, July 29, 2012 By Amazon Customer – Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This bag is very functional, light-weight, and convenient. I liked my first one so much that I ordered a second. I’ve received numerous compliments and inquiries about this bag from others who like to do yarn work and are looking for a better way to organize and store their yarn. My only critique of this bag would be that it is not the best constructed product: the zippers can easily separate when closed, but zipping back and forth a couple times usually fixes it. Handle the zippers carefully. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comments (2) Reply Leave a comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
