I found that this wax melts at a lower temperature than 100% soy wax without the additives, but still needs to be heated to a higher temperature (190-200 degrees) if adding fragrance. After pouring and setting, the surface of the wax sometimes had air bubbles or small holes, which I remedied with a blow-dryer to melt the top surface and dry more smoothly. In burning candles, this wax is wonderful for burning more evenly with a more superior smooth appearance than the 100% soy wax, which sometimes looked mottled, and with less tunneling. Overall, I’m happy with this wax and have purchased twice.

It was very ready to make the candles however it came a storm before I could the candles covered and the rain water was easily absorbed by the wax and the candles were basically ruined. The wax and the wicks would never dry even after leaving them sitting in the sun for several weeks. Not sure if it was something I did while making them but was really shocked about the water absorbing into the wax.
