I finally decided to give these a try after I had enough damaged fletchings on my 10+ year old carbon fiber arrows.
To be totally honest, it took me longer to remove the old fletchings and glue than it took to put these on. I spent about 20 minutes with a razor blade removing the old stuff, and about ten minutes getting the water boiling, then about 20 seconds per arrow to put these on.
There is one small down side, some times after your arrow passes through an animal, you will need to re-fletch that arrow. I my experience I have had the same problem with the glued-on style to, so I guess it’s not so much a down side, because it will only take ten minutes to fix it once you get back to the house or camp. As I could never convince myself to purchase an expensive fletching jig, I would need to go to the local archery shop to have my arrows fixed in the past.
So over all, I would recommend these to other bow hunters.

After reading all the glorifying reviews I decided that these were what I needed to quickly fix my own arrows. I read the directions and watched instructional videos on how to install them. I installed three onto my easton FMJ 400 arrows. The process went smooth except for the tiny about of water that got trapped under the back end of a couple fletchings. Went to an indoor range later that day to test them out. I always mark each arrow with a number to see if it is my aim that is off or if it due to the arrow. 1,2, and 3 were all the newly nap fletched arrows. 4,5, and 6 were all the original glued on blazer vanes. after around 20 shots, 1 hit consistently two inches to the left, 2 hit half an inch to an inch low, and 3 hit two inches low.. 4,5, and 6 were all grouped within the three inch yellow bullseye. Upon inspection of the nap fletchings to see if there was an issue I found that there was a single vane on both 1 and 3 that had separated from the heat shrink tubing at the front of the vane. I decided to use the rest of the 3 quikfletch tubes to fix my wife’s arrows which are standard diameter carbon express branded. These installed perfectly with no water trapped under the tubing and she has actually noticed better groupings with these three arrows.. Maybe they don’t work well with smaller diameter arrows? Maybe I didn’t install them right? Who knows.. I won’t be purchasing them again for my hunting arrows but for my wife’s target arrows I probably will.

they are great and easy to install, this is my second buy, trying to refletch all my arrows…and my arrows are much quieter during flight…compared to the feather vanes that was on them
