This review is from: New Archery Products Quicktune Capture 360 Black Rest Right Hand (Sports) We shoot compound (Genesis) bows for target archery, so I am not looking to invest the big bucks that some hunters do for complex autodropping rests. This has been a great solution for our bows. Arrows leave slide straight, with minimal interference. Proper adjustment takes a few minutes, but it’s not brain surgery. And once adjusted, you pretty much forget about it. We have had wear on the brushes, but it’s to be expected with the amount of use our bows see. We have not experienced any breakage or equipment failure. I use these on all our adult bows, and use the standard Genesis shelf on the kids’ bows. We had used whisker rings on the kids’ bows because I thought they we more foolproof. But the closed ring makes sighting difficult unless you use a sight, and that was more than we are willing to invest in kid bows. I also dont’ think that foolproof is the right educational goal. The kids should have enough discipline to keep the arrow on the shelf during draw. All of our bows are set up for “instinctive” shooting and we teach to aim off the tip of the arrow, impact is a few cm above the tip of the arrow. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful May be a good item but…, September 11, 2011 By M. Deschaine – Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This review is from: New Archery Products Quicktune Capture 360 Black Rest Right Hand (Sports) I got this item and it installed pretty easy. I adjusted my arrows to launch. I shot maybe 15 arrows then I noticed my arrows weren’t staying on the launcher. I looked down and the dang launcher was busted in half on the far side not even the back where you would be standing (how this could happen I have no idea considering if a vane hit it, it would hit the back of the launcher first). The kit comes with an extra one, but it shouldn’t of broke that easy. Pretty disappointed in the item. The brushes also don’t align all onto the arrow. One side aligns perfectly but the other side only one set of brushes touches the arrow no matter how many times I tried to adjust it. I spent a lot of time making sure I did not mess anything up and also made sure the vanes aligned correctly to shoot from the rest…It does still hold the arrow in place swinging it in a 360 though; I guess that is a good thing. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply Leave a comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
