I had a chance to try this out on a Kayaking trip the past weekend. Last time i went i took my phone and other items and put them in a so called “Waterproof box” but when the kayak flipped I found out that it was not so waterproof. Yes it did float but with water inside. It ruin a car Keyfob (at a price of $150). I was able to file a claim on it so I was covered but what a pain it was. So here comes this bag. I was very skeptical because it cost 3x less than the box I used. So i gave it a go. I put some items in that i could get wet if anything were to happen. I even put in a paper towel just to see if any water got in. I threw it in the water a few times to simulate knocking it over. then i took it and submerged it for a second or 2 to simulate a flip. It held up way better than i thought it would. No water got in. Next test was using it with my phone in Florida, with this rain. I ride a motorcycle and get caught every once in a while so i decided to try this out on one of those fateful days. It kept my phone nice and dry even though i was soaked to the bone.Something hard to do at 80mph. So it earns a 5 star rating from me! Now keep in mind that i would not keep it in the water just for common sense sake. But for a decent rain and boating/pool activities, Yes! I did receive this free for my honest review and it is just that. If I did not like the product and have faith in it then a lower rating it would have got. Now for longevity, I cannot say right now. Only time will tell but with me living in FLA it will get lots of use! This review is from: Ohuhu Dry Sack/ Waterproof Bag for Boating, Kayaking, Hiking, Snowboarding, Camping, Rafting, Fishing and Backpacking (Misc.) I ordered both the small and large dry sack and found them to be as advertised. I use them predominantly for kayaking on longer trips when there’s about 99% chance of them being involved with water to some degree. At times, these bags set for hours in the hatch with water to an extent they sometimes actually float when loaded with light gear. To this point I have never had a bag leak from exposure to water or realize condensation on the inside due too temperature extremes. All items remained dry including clothing, personals and electronics. Lastly, these sacks are tough. You don’t have to worry about them rupturing or getting a hole poked in them. I’ve had everything from a bow saw to kindling wood and not even a scratch. Waterproof, durability and price makes these sacks a good choice. This bag is perfect for keeping our phones, cameras and other items safe from getting wet. We have a large dry bag that we take with us anytime we go somewhere that there might be the possibility we could encounter rain or water. The smaller items tend to always fall to the bottom of the bag and then we have to end up emptying out the entire contents of the bag to retrieve them. I like that this bag is small and folds up to be very compact. It’s actually smaller than my toothbrush holder when the bag is rolled up.I make sure to roll the top down at least three times so the bag is completely sealed up and then snap the buckle shut. I can also clip it around the handle of our stroller or bike to keep our small items in easy reach but still have them be totally protected. It will be perfect for trips to the amusement parks to keep our things from getting wet on the rides. When boating or camping, we keep all of our emergency/survival supplies double vaccummed sealed in case they happen to get submerged in water. This bag isn’t meant to be submerged under the water but it will keep things from getting wet if some water happens to get splashed on it or you get caught in the rain. This small dry bag will be great to use for the things that we want to keep dry but still be able to have quick access to.I was sent this item as a complimentary sample for the purpose of testing and providing my true opinion on how it performed for me.
