Don’t be mislead. This is infact great cord but it is slightly less quality then milspec. The inner cords are 2 strand woven and not 3. The inner cords when separated do begin to fray. Realistically it is a step down from the real deal but still fully capable for use making snares or fishing line. I would not expect it to work well if the inner cords where separated to sew for instance. I will be ordering more colors though since it is such a great alternative.

This has a little bit different of a feel than normal paracord. It is more plastic like and less soft than normal paracord. I do like the vibrant color, but I am not a fan of the texture of the cord

I was nervous ordering paracord off of Amazon, because I’d seen reviews of bad quality paracord that was flat, had internal knots, or only had 5 strands, or the color was faded, etc.
I looked around at different options and chose 50 feet of royal blue paracord from Outdoor Bunker. The paracord came today and I couldn’t wait to make a lanyard for my new neck knife.
On first inspection: it appears to be a full 50 feet. The royal blue color is very nice and not faded. The cord is round and not flat, which is great. Internally, my paracord had a full 7 strands. One of the strands was white and a green/blue color. The internal strands are made up of two threads.
This commercial-grade paracord from Outdoor Bunker is exactly as described, and good quality, and I would order this again.
