   I’ve been using this saber for several months, and everything is ok. The blade is holding up well. The only concern is fraying on the felt pad and some discoloration in the grip. These are not problematic, though. Again, for the price, excellent. When I bought this, I was planning on upgrading individual parts as needed. I just wanted a basic entry level weapon, and this fits the bill.

   This saber is one of the best purcheses I’ve ever made. The blade is sturdy and very we’ll balanced, and the french grip handle fits in my hand well, I love the whole thing and it is a fantastic sword for beginners.
