My son got this set, along with the 28 piece set for Christmas. I’m glad it came early, and that I read the reviews before I wrapped it (from his grandma). The other reviewers were correct. There were duplicate tiles and missing tiles, and there didn’t seem to be any quality control. Some of the tiles were thin and some were thick, with some wider than others… this was true of both sets (what are the odds?). Pay attention to the reviewers – if anyone got a usable set, they got lucky.

The NEW dominoes I rec’d are great. Heavy and well made. The wood case is nice too. The operative word there is NEW.
Of the three boxes I bought from Amazon, I gave one away. I kept two boxes and in one of the boxes, there are two shrink wrapped sets of dominoes. After my son opened his presents at Xmas, I helped him open one of the shrink wrapped packages. The others went in his room unopened.
We wanted to play dominoes today and when he brought the dominoes out, there was a set that were obviously used (had pink pen marks) and were discolored. The new ones are shiny and ivory. The old ones are orange-ish, a thinner domino, and scratched up.
I am so disgusted that they’d send USED dominoes. Hence the two-star rating.

Dominoes were as described. Quality, finish and the box are all excellent. For the quality the price is great; actually about 1/2 price of what I previously paid for a similiar set. Both items were gifts that were greatly appreciated. Will buy again.
