   I’m a classroom teacher with 20 years experience. Recently I needed to take additional courses to renew my certification. I thought that as a veteran of the classroom, nothing in the book would suprise me. However, even I found sections of the book to be useful. For the new teacher, this book offers a great summary of techniques, philosophies, and theories but also practical suggestions and knowledge that make this book more useful than the standard educational theory textbook. All in all, highly recommended.
