This review is from: Quik Shade MAX Shade Chair, Navy (Sports) Exactly what we were expecting. Fairly light to carry, easy to open. Top tilts so you can pull down the front on one side to block the sun from shining in your eyes, while keeping the other side up so you can see the ocean. This will protect your head and shoulders, but not your legs, as it doesn’t come far enough forward. Wish the top was longer, but that would make the carrying case longer and I suppose the weight might make the chair tip forward when you’re not sitting. Even as it is, this one will do that in a slight wind. Don’t love the gold trim on the blue, but that’s minor. All in all, a good choice for the beach. This review is from: Quik Shade MAX Shade Chair, Navy (Sports) I ordered two of these chairs and they arrived on time. They are a great chair for sitting by the lake fishing and even provided shelter from a sudden downpour. At first I thought they were a little flimsy but so far they have proved sturdy enough. This review is from: Quik Shade MAX Shade Chair, Navy (Sports) Bought a couple of these chairs to watch my daughters soccer games without melting in the desert sun. Overall, I’m pretty happy with my purchase. The chairs are as comfortable as any other in this style. The front of the shade can be adjusted up or down to block from different angles or the whole shade can be folded against the back of the chair when not needed. The material is a little thin, pretty average for a folding chair. Most of the connections and moving parts are plastic that is pop riveted to the light metal tube frame. I expect my first problems to be with the rivets breaking off on the shade somewhere. For now they hold together pretty well, I’m 220lbs and feel confident that the chairs aren’t going to break anytime soon.
