The ship was pretty easy to assemble, but the pieces could snap together tighter. The ship is definitely too fragile to play with, especially the sails, which are just paper and don’t have a way to be permanently attached. I am ten, and built it myself with very little help. It looks good, but is not very sturdy.

I have been building level 2 and level 3 models for a while now. They take days to build properly. I saw this snap tite pirate ship and liked the way it looked assembled and looked forward to an easy build. It is easy to put together and all the parts fit nicely with no unsightly gaps. A little highlight painting makes it a real display piece. It is not suitable for childs play and is meant for static display.

I bought this with a more challenging ship model for a 7 and 5 yr old. They had this together within an hour, saying it was too easy! I am still giving it 5 stars because they loved putting it togetherness, the quality was good and all the pieces fit to make the perfect pirate playtime
