This review is from: Steam Train Locomotive Engine Car Bubble Blowing Bump & Go Battery Operated Toy Train w/ Lights & Sounds (Toy) My girls absolutely LOVE this ‘bubble train’! They went through the entire bottle of bubbles that came with the train in one day, and still constantly ask to play with the bubble train. My daughters are 4 and 8, and they seem to be about the perfect ages for a toy like this! I did learn that it’s best on linoleum or wood floors, like I have, but the floors really need to be clean, otherwise pet fur and other dust particles, can get stuck in the wheels. The wheels could also get stuck in hair, so make sure it doesn’t get too close to little heads. I had to track down a screwdriver to put in the batteries, but once I got them in, I used the awesome included funnel to fill up the reservoir, turned the switch on, and we had an amazing amount of bubble fun! The music is loud and fun, and the lights light up the whole room! The girls are constantly turning the lights off to play with it. 🙂 I was really worried that bubbles in the house would make a huge mess, but this awesome train drives all over the room, backing up when it hits something, turning, and going in a different direction, which ensures that bubbles aren’t all in one place (unless your kid decides that it needs to create a pile of bubbles on the floor! haha). The bubbles are awesomely small, though, and pop quickly without leaving a nasty residue all over the floors that you just cleaned so that the bubble train wouldn’t get stuck! We have really had a lot of fun with this…in fact, I had to find a homemade bubble recipe so that we could play with it all the time without having to spend a lot of money on bubbles. Here’s the best recipe that I found: 1/2 cup of dishwashing liquid (Dawn works very well)2 cups of water2 teaspoons of sugar Add ingredients together, place into a shallow pan to use (or refill old bubble containers)Have fun! This makes a great gift! I received this bubble blowing toy train for the purpose of my review, but my opinions are 100% my own, and based on MY personal use. I was not told what to say, only asked to give an honest review based on my own experience with the product. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful √ ALL ABOARD! Fun Sound + Bubbles = F-U-N!, June 18, 2015 By Bassocantor ” OracleMagician” (San Francisco) – This review is from: Steam Train Locomotive Engine Car Bubble Blowing Bump & Go Battery Operated Toy Train w/ Lights & Sounds (Toy) Customer Video Review Length:: 2:22 Mins I trust this video illustrates some of the features of this fun toy. We had a lot of fun trying out this train. Our cats also loved chasing it around. We tried it in our entryway (tile floor), and found that it worked well and ran along the floor smoothly. To get it started, you put 3-AA batteries in the bottom of the train (not included). Then, you add some of the bubble liquid (provided.) Of course, you don’t have to use the bubbles, but smaller kids will like them. One note: The directions indicate you should entirely fill-up the train reservoir with bubble juice. That seems a bit odd, but we did put quite a bit in (about half the bottle.) Sure enough, after a few minutes, the bubbles starting bubbling! PRO:+ Really Fun sound effects. Medium volume–not too loud so as to bother mom and dad too much.+ Train moves just fine when it hits obstacles. It switches directions, so it never once got stuck.+ Bubbles did entire start bubbling–more of “clumps” of bubbles, but bubbles nevertheless.+ Good instructions for using the “filler” for putting the liquid in without spilling. I didn’t spill a drop. That all worked very well. CON: (nits)– Took a few minutes for the bubbles to begin. Not a big deal.– Have to unscrew the battery compartment to replace batteries. Having to get a screwdriver to remove a small screw strikes me as a little primitive.– The 3-AA batteries are not included. √ All in all, a FUN product that I’m sure kids will love. Fun design & looks great. Sample product for impartial review. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful Great train my son loves it!, June 24, 2015 By Christy Levesque – Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This review is from: Steam Train Locomotive Engine Car Bubble Blowing Bump & Go Battery Operated Toy Train w/ Lights & Sounds (Toy) This train is amazing my 5 year old loves it! It plays music and blows bubbles and not only that but it also detects when it bumps into something and it backs up and moves. This toy is not made cheap it is a nice quality toy and it keeps my son busy for over an hour. Out of all my sons birthday presents this was his favorite. It has been several weeks and he still plays with it every day. This train don’t just blow a few bubbles it blows a lot of bubbles which is one of the things that make it so much fun. The music it plays is also catchy. Another awesome thing about this toy train is that it comes with a bottle of bubbles. It also has flashing lights which is pretty cool and so much fun for your child. This toy train does require 3 AA batteries to run and the batteries don’t come with it so make sure you buy some before hand. This is an awesome toy I am sure you child will love it as much as my son did. I love the way it lights up I thought that was pretty cool as well as the music. I did get this product for free or at a discounted price for my honest review and these are my true thoughts on this product. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply Leave a comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
