Camping, hiking, airplane, and extra pillows for the motorhome! This inflatable pillow is great for all of those needs. It folds up small and fits inside a bag with a draw string so you can easily carry it while traveling, or packing it while camping or hiking, or put in a drawer in the motorhome for company.
On top of that, it’s really easy to inflate it. All you need to do is twist the cap on one of the corners and open it up to let air flow in. The bag has some material of some sort on the inside so it’s not just nylon and air. Once you open up the twist cap, you have to wait about a minute for the pillow to get about half way inflated. Then just a breath or two into the cap will inflate the pillow to your liking. Then twist the cap tight. It’s super easy to do. Then when you want to deflate, you open the twist cap again, fold the pillow over in half, then again in half, and voila! Put it in its carrying bag.
It is very comfortable to lay on. I am excited to take it on a long overseas airplane ride I have coming up. I always need a pillow behind my back for the long hauls and this will be SO easy to carry with me. We do camp, and have a motorhome and boat, and I like that this pillow can easily go between the places we need an extra pillow for grandkids or guests. I also like that it’s nylon and can be easily washed with a wet, soapy washcloth so I don’t have to haul pillowcases around. This is a pretty convenient pillow! I actually don’t go camping very much but got one to keep in the car. We frequently take road trips and I have one of those u-shaped neck pillows in my car, but it doesn’t work well when you try to sleep on your side against the passenger door – the beads inside it flow to the bottom and it doesn’t hold shape. This pillow is actually perfect. Easy to store, easy to inflate, not annoyingly big and holds its shape so you can lean it against the side of the car and take a nap (we switch off driving). I like that it doesn’t take up space so I don’t have all these pillows in the back of my car, and it’s perfect for traveling so I don’t have to worry about spilling something on it and ruining it – it washes off! I also like that you can change how firm or soft it is by inflating or deflating. I think it’s a little pricey for an air pillow, but it is solidly built and handy. I love pillows. I really have a collection of them. I really like this pillows versatility. It is a small pillow that can be used in different ways. It self inflates which is so cool by the way. You also have a travel case that keeps it clean and dust free. Have you ever been in a car and felt sick and just wished you had a pillow. Or been waiting somewhere and it take longer than expected? There are so many places and times that you can use this pillow that it is a great addition to any travel kit, but I just keep it in my car.
