Wow. I got this yesterday and opened it. I was super impressed. This thing is jam packed full of survival goodies- We live in hurricane country, not mountains, but we travel a lot and knowing I have this in my car makes me feel a lot safer. Fishing line, lure, and hook, a saw, firestarter..man- There is seriously EVERYTHING you would need in an emergency/survival scenario. And it is all well packed in to this tiny little metal box. Now that box lives in my glove box, in the car. My hubby feels much better knowing we have this kit, in case of accient, getting lost, hurricane..We are well prepared!!

This compact survival kit comes in a small tin and will fit perfectly in your car or in your hiking pack. The multi-tool knife is high quality, very similar to a Swiss Army Knife, with an 1 inch blade, wood saw, fish scaler & hook disgorger, can opener, cap lifter with flat screwdriver, scissors, corkscrew and a phillips screwdriver. The flint and steel is easy to use and will start a fire using steel wool or cotton balls with it. The Mylar Emergency Blanket is 63 by 82 inches and will protect against hypothermia. The red whistle is loud and includes a compass and a waterproof compartment to store matches or extra fire starter material. The 24 inch wire saw can be used to cut small braches for firewood or shelter. This kit also includes a 15 ft fishing line kit with 3 hooks and a lure, a candle, a razor blade, a pencil and earplugs. This is the perfect survival kit for many different scenarios!! I recommend adding matches, steel wool, or other fire starting materials to the waterproof compartment inside the emergency whistle.

Compact case with lots of goodies to ease your mind. We specifically requested and ordered this as an emergency kit for our newest driver in our home. The case fits nicely in the smallest of places. The contents of the Survival Kit are quality and appear to not be breakable after the first use. It eases this mama’s mind knowing that should our newest driver need it – they have it within arms reach.
