This review is from: Tamiya 35055 1/35 US M41 Walker Bulldog (Toy) For anybody who would love to start Model building on Military vehicles, I would recommend this. It gives exclusive detail into paint and should take you less than five days to build. I do not recommend using spray paints as it says because it gets messy and complicated. With the weathering kit this model looks even more beautiful. I’d say this is a great model for anyone who wants a cheap, easy, beginners model. I also recommend buying Tamiya’s German Panzer 3. It is also a great starters kit. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment (1) Reply 19 of 19 people found the following review helpful Great kit – perfect for a beginning armor modeler., November 5, 2014 By Mike (Pennsylvania) – Verified Purchase(What’s this?) No major issues with fit, etc. The instructions were pretty clear and this only took a few days to build. Note, I didn’t complete the figures, but there are three included in the kit. The only area that needed a little putty was the gun barrel, after gluing them, the seams needed a minor amount of putty and then could be sanded perfectly smooth. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment (1) Reply 21 of 22 people found the following review helpful Model Builder, September 20, 2009 By J. Kits consists of about 50 parts and, YES, you do have to put it together. This is a fair representation of the M41 tank. Remember, this is an older kit, so accuracy may be questionable for you purists. Kit hull has holes in bottom for the little motor that used to come with Tamiya kits in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Overall fit was pretty good. Instruction sheet has a very lengthy development history of th M41 tank as well as any medium tanks in U.S. inventory. When I bought my kit, it was missing about 4 major parts. Wrote to Tamiya as per the instruction sheet and I am still waiting for a reply. That was about 10 years ago. Overall, as other reviewers stated, this is a great kit for young people to start building if accuracy and detail is not a problem. You also recieve a tank commander figuer as well as 4 additional infantry figures. Decals are provided for U.S. Army and Japanese army (comes in handy if you want to make a Godzilla diorama with this kit). If you want a more detailed, modern, state-of-the-art kit of the M41 tank, then you will want tha kit that AFV released a few years ago. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply Leave a comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
